Yahoo, just listed my home location without my permission even though my personal information is private and hidden. I have since deleted my account with them, but don't trust them to delete my personal information. I suspect that they are a virus. I can find no location to fie a personal complaint against them in their web site, WTF?
I sure hope this site is better maintained that that.

I am not too sure what you are talking about, but I will just take a guess.
I wouldn't put any real info on Yahoo, Facebook etc. Many times they will tie in with other providers and put that info together, and get around all those privacy safeguards.
Actually there is enough public information outside of the internet, that someone could put together a complete dossier on you, if they decide to go through the trouble. Remember property tax info that is public info, voter reg is public info, etc etc.
BTW: Many times, you really can't delete info that you put in, they just make it not visible to you or your clients.
